A neighborhood Bistro became a regional hub for young people when the Central Connecticut Chambers‘ newest young professionals and entrepreneurs organization, PYVOT, had its second event at 50 West in Plainville after a wildly successful launch event in May at Cugino’s in Farmington.
Folks from all over the region including Bristol, Plainville, West Hartford, Burlington, Deep River and other areas descended on the quaint restaurant for drinks, wine, and conversation. Business connections were made as well as a surprise spread of free tasty bites put out by fellow PYVOT-er, owner and entrepreneur of 50 West, Patrick Miceli.
“The brussel sprouts are amazing,” chomped one young professional, “And I don’t even like brussel sprouts,” she laughed. Amongst the spread were special cheese ball concoctions, a gourmet cornbread, elevated chicken wings dusted in magical spice rubs and sauces, and more.
The night lasted several hours and business and personal relationships were established and growth, with new folks introduced to the PYVOT movement and excited for more. Be sure to tune in to the next event, a special Friends & Family event at Riverfront Mini Golf in July!
